Quote of the Week: Have nothing to your houses which you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful. – William Morris
Hello friends!
I hope you've been having a good week so far, and you've been enjoying some fall weather. We've had alternating days of rain and sunny-ish weather for the last week, and it's been nice!
Lately I've been busy on putting the final touches on my new ebook that's *hopefully* coming out on December 1. It's a lot more work than I ever anticipated, but I'm really hoping it will help people who want to build a solid decluttering habit.
On a more personal note, one of our family friends has been in the hospital for a few days now with a bad infection. If you could send good thoughts and prayers her way, I'd really appreciate it!
Now, on to the organizing goodies!
Penny Candy Jars
We've been buying more and more of our groceries in bulk lately, and I've been thinking of investing in a new set of canisters to hold some of our dry goods. I'm loving these penny candy jars that come in different sizes. They'd be great for holding cereal, cookies, flour, sugar, or even…candy! They might be good for holding little odds and ends too.
Organizing Christmas Gift Buying
I am feeling way behind on my holiday shopping organization project! I really need to set aside some time this week to work on this, because it will be such a relief to have it done.
Free/cheap Kindle Books That Look Promising

Organizing With Binders
One of my favorite ways to organize paperwork is to use binders. Re-reading this post made me realize how much having a binder organization system has helped me stay organized in the past few years.
I've Been Working On An Ebook For You!
One of the biggest questions I get asked is “How do I get started with decluttering? I have so much stuff, and I don't know where to begin.” It's hard to know where to begin – especially if you've never really done a lot of decluttering to begin with.
Making decisions about what to keep, what to throw away, what to try to sell, and what needs to be recycled, etc. can be exhausting.
That's why I've been working on an ebook to help you build your decluttering skills. With the book, you'll build your decluttering decision-making muscles by going through a series of easy decluttering tasks that are designed to help you see immediate progress.
It's meant to take you from being a decluttering novice to having the confidence to declutter the more difficult items.
Want to order the book? You can do that here.
