Quote of the Week: Outer order contributes to inner calm. – Gretchen Rubin
Hello friends!
So…we could all use some more inner calm right now. I know I'm going to try to take a step back from social media and concentrate on making our home a calmer place in the next few days. No matter who you voted for, I hope you will find some ways to help yourself relax and recover from all of the emotions of the last few weeks.
Need A Distraction?
Check out the Sorta Awesome podcast. It's always a delight to listen to, but Episode 76, “Distract me! (Please?)” is especially awesome right now. It was produced pre-election, but it still has tons of ideas for healthy ways to distract yourself if you feel you need to. If you're new to podcasts, this post will help you figure out how to listen to them.

Adventures in Organizing
In case you missed it, I'm doing a big holiday organizing project with three of my favorite blogging buddies. We're planning to continue with the series in the coming months, and highlight different ways to organize similar things.
We are hoping that readers will join in with us by posting their own organizing projects on social media. It's like one big group project where everyone gets to do what they want to do! 🙂

What to Do When You're Overwhelmed By Your Home
This post has been getting a lot of visits in the past week. I guess a lot of people are feeling overwhelmed by their homes.
I'm Wrote An Ebook for You!
One of the biggest questions I get asked is “How do I get started with decluttering? I have so much stuff, and I don't know where to begin.” It's hard to know where to begin – especially if you've never really done a lot of decluttering to begin with.
Making decisions about what to keep, what to throw away, what to try to sell, and what needs to be recycled, etc. can be exhausting.
That's why I've been working on an ebook to help you build your decluttering skills. With the book, you'll build your decluttering decision-making muscles by going through a series of easy decluttering tasks that are designed to help you see immediate progress.
It's meant to take you from being a decluttering novice to having the confidence to declutter the more difficult items.
