Quote of the Week: Well done is better than well said. – Benjamin Franklin
Hello friends!
Welcome to this week's edition of organizing inspiration. We've already had two snow days this week, and I think it's safe to say we officially have cabin fever!
The boys have been busy making snow forts and taking advantage of the rare Washington state snow. Having some extra time in the house gave me the chance to catch up on some home-related things, and appreciate the fact that snow is a special treat for us instead of the norm!
What do you like to do on snow days? If you have any favorites, please tell us about them in the comments!
Have a great week!
❤ Katie
Air Filters – How to Automate Remembering to Replace Them
So, we have lived in our house for three years, and I'm not sure when the last time was that we changed our air filters for our furnace. Honestly, it's just not something I ever think about, and I should because we have little kids and I have allergies.
Plus, having a clean air filter can make your furnace run more efficiently and save you money.
I signed up for an air filter delivery service called Filter Easy, so I don't have to rely on myself to remember to change the filters.
Filter Easy automatically delivers a new filter at the frequency you set, so when it shows up on your doorstep, you know it's time to change the filter.
I thought the service was so helpful that I contacted Filter Easy and asked them if they could offer a free trial just for Organizing Moms readers. They said yes (yay!), so if you'd like to try out Filter Easy, you can use my official affiliate link to try the Filter Easy service free of charge!

Organizing A Garden
I'm seriously loving the idea of using a garden tower in our backyard next summer. This one has a built in composter, and has room for up to 50 plants! It's a bit spendy, but what a neat idea!
This summer I'd really like to grow more food in our little backyard garden. We had pretty good luck last year, but I'm hoping this year we can plan to plant more foods we'll actually use and eat. In particular, I'm hoping for more strawberries and more tomatoes!
Last year we had a huge slug problem (so gross!). As soon as our snow melts, I'm going to start sprinkling some Sluggo on our soil. Hopefully that will help!
