Finding the right storage solution isn't always easy. Sometimes you have to do a DIY organization project to make the right storage solution for a specific space.
DIY organization projects don't have to be complicated or time-consuming. Often, it's just a matter of finding the right kind of container, and making it pretty!
I had been looking for a pretty way to store toilet paper in our powder room for a while. I didn't want to invest in an expensive basket, because we will likely be moving soon, and the basket might not work in our new home.
Because I'd had good luck with using diaper boxes for our mudroom storage area, I wanted to try something similar for our powder room. Unfortunately, I didn't have the right-sized box, so I put the project off for a while.
Then one day, this Amazon box arrived on our doorstep! It's the perfect size for storing toilet paper.
To make the box pretty, I covered it in a pretty wrapping paper. We don't have any cabinets or shelves in our powder room, so this tiny box was a welcome addition.
I love this pretty little storage solution. And, the best part was that it was inexpensive, simple, and didn't take a lot of time to make.
Materials Needed
A cardboard box
Scissors
Tape
