Do you feel like you're drowning in clutter? Do you feel disheveled and disorganized? Are you fed up with feeling helpless about the state of your house? Join us for the 10-Minute Tidy Organizing Challenge, and get your home back in order. We're going to work together, a little bit each day, to declutter, tidy up, and get organized.
Why Are We Only Decluttering for 10 Minutes a Day?
- Because spending hours upon hours organizing is only fun if you're a professional organizer and you're getting paid. Even then, the fun-factor is questionable.
- Because you'd rather spend your time doing other things.
- Because if you work on organizing for just ten minutes a day, it's totally do-able, and it will become a habit.
- Because if you stick to organizing for ten minutes a day for the whole year, you'll put in over 60 hours organizing time!
- Because, as moms, its inconceivable that we would ever have a 60-hour block of time to dedicate to organizing. If we did have 60-hour blocks of free time, they would most likely dedicated to sleeping, hanging out with adults, and shopping at Target.
When Does the 10-Minute Tidy Organizing Challenge Start?
Whenever you want it to. Just jump in where you are, and don't worry about catching up. The challenge is ongoing.

What if I Can't Keep Up?
Do what you can. If your kids are vomiting all over the house, skip the daily organizing challenge, okay? This challenge is not supposed to be a source of stress. Focus on making progress, not on making your house look like something from the pages of House Beautiful. Or Pinterest.
But really, if you have to take a few days off, do it. Join us again when you're ready.
What if I Want to Do Things in a Different Order?
Do it. We all like to live on the wild side every once in a while. Do not make the order of tasks into a source of drama and stress. The organizing police will not come after you if you decide to swap tasks for a day. Do what works for you, you rebel.
What if One of the Tasks Doesn't Apply to Me?
You could…
- Enjoy a cool beverage.
- Do another task.
- Take a walk.
- Phone a friend.
- Celebrate the fact that you already have that part of your house organized!
What if I Want to Work for More Than 10 Minutes?
Do it, but don't get overwhelmed. Don't take out more stuff than you can put back within about 15 minutes.
Okay, I'm in! How do I sign up and what should I do first?
